I met John's 12-year old daughter Amanda last night. Our two girls seemed to get along very well. I made dinner and we watched one of Rachel's movies and chatted. I'll be spending the weekend at John's and spend more time getting to know Amanda better this evening. Saturday sees her off to her Mom's for the weekend.



It was wonderful cooking dinner and having such loving company! It will be interesting now that the kids have met and sharing my time with them as well as John. I'm going to meet his oldest daughter and parents in California for Thanksgiving. So much to look forward to! :0)

John and I have decided it is time for our daughers to meet. This Thursday evening I will be meeting Amanda for the first time; although I have spoken to her briefly over the phone these past few months.



It will also be the first time my daughter & his will be spending time together. I'm making a simple dinner of spaghetti, meatballs and garlic toast.



I'm very happy and looking forward to this get-together. No doubt I am very cautious and concerned how things will work out! Crossing my fingers in hoping all goes well.
